12/17/2000 I can't believe how busy and disorganized I am right now. I have that Game Input Theory paper sitting almost done (hopefully I'll finish that on my trip home for the holidays on Tuesday. I wrote an app to test GLF (OpenGL Font library by Romka) and it turned into a test of a 3D windowing system using OpenGL, complete with a built-in console that can handle commands and everything... oops! Also, I've been working on a class for loading Wavefront/Alias .obj files, it's getting close to done, I'll post that here when it's done. And I thought I'd let some of you out there know about a great intro to 3D matrix math which can be found at http://www.gamedev.net/reference/articles/article877.asp, it's by Jeff Weeks and Codex Software. I also need to finish the AGL & DSp tutorial rewrite too, but I'm studying for finals now. Oh, yeah, I'm still working on porting Egoboo to the Mac, it's comming along nicely so far.
11/21/2000 Well, I've been working on Egoboo a lot lately. This week I plan on finishing a tutorial on game input theory and implementation. Oh, yeah... I made that egoboo pic on the left of the page.
11/12/2000 Well, for those who like NeHe Production's tutorials, you've probably noticed I've been porting a lot of those lately. I've been trying to get time to rewrite my AGL & DSp tutorial to my new code base that I've been using for it. I've also been trying to play around with writing a bezier curve camera class and an .obj file loader. I've been doing a lot of news for iDevGames.com, and have recently joined the Egoboo project, so I'm not sure how soon I'll get to all of it.
8/28/2000 Well, finally sat down and fixed my tables so that they adjust nicely to varying lengths of textg, but the text rides up against the edge... oh well. Anyway, it should work w/IE now. My school has some weird things with their network, so I can only access the net from my dorm room, and my e-mail can't always send to some people. I'm going to upload my projects to my iDisk account right now, though. My tutorial is comming along really slowly now that I'm back at school, so you'll have to excuse me.
8/20/2000 I'm going to be putting all my downloadable files on my iDisk, that's 20MB free for storage. My site will still be hosted here, I prefer it that way, but I will link to files on my iDisk. I still need to update the tables, but I have added a couple of links and am working on the tutorial right now.
8/11/2000 I'm working on fixing and updating my AGL & DSp Tutorial. It will now also include a resolution switching dialog. I've been porting a lot of NeHe's Tutorials lately, so you can expect a bunch of those to start showing up on his site now. Also, I'm planning a couple more tutorials for the future, one being a Carbon tutorial (this should be fairly easy since it's basically just some more wrappers aroung Toolbax stuff), and an OpenPlay tutorial (can you say cross platform networking!). Oh, and I need to fix the tables on this site, they don't look right in "GASP" Internet Explorer.
7/2/2000 Redesigned the whole appearance of my site this morning. Looks much better. I finished up another demo last night, so I'll be posting that soon. I've got a cool new links perl script that I wrote which I would like to use for my links page, so that may be up soon too.
6/6/2000 I've been updating the appearance of my site a little bit at a time (whenever I have a free minute). I have to update one paragraph of my tutorial soon. That's all I have time for... I'm late for class (just waiting for this to finish uploading).
6/4/2000 I wrote a tutorial about using DrawSprocket and AGL so that people can learn how to write cooler full screen OpenGL apps with gamma fades and everything. Read it here (it even includes a simple application with source).
5/11/2000 I finally uploaded this new page (it's been just sitting on my hard drive for the last few days. I was looking over OpenGL.org this morning and noticed that there is a little blurb about this week's OpenGL Challenge entries (which includes my Beat System entry!)
5/7/2000 I have been doing a bunch of demos for the OpenGL Challenge, but haven't updated this site so I whipped up this new look and have added more demos to the Downloads page.
3/29/2000 I've added my first real OpenGL demo for the MacOS (Clouds.sit.hqx), so check it out if you want to.
3/13/2000 I added another computer to my list of computers that I have (a Mac Classic, thanks William!)
3/12/2000 I just finished whipping this site up so that I have a place to put some of my personal stuff that I'm working on (like OpenGL demos & stuff).
